I was on iChat with Z about the next photo shoot and asked her if she wanted to use the 17-85mm or the 50mm lens. But a typo made me write 500mm. I then asked myself if this kind of lens even existed…
And yes, it does!
Look at the size of this monster, compared to a regular reflex body! With such a lens, you’d be able to spot a freckle on the cheek of Stephanie Gilmore while she tubes at Waimea Bay and still be comfortably seated on the beach.

Regardez la taille de ce monstre, comparé à un boîtier reflex classique ! Avec un objectif pareil, on peut photographier une pigasse sur la joue de Stephanie Gilmore pendant qu’elle tube à Waimea Bay, tout en restant confortablement assis sur la plage.
