And I was certain I couldn’t get excited by whatever else would be announced.
But they released a sublime hardware, with the aspect I wished for the iPhone. And the iPad is perfect for my needs, as long as I could afford a WiFi + 3G model with 64GB and the corresponding data plans. If the ones available where I live are as affordable as the ones AT&T announced for the iPad release, it’ll be nice.
Anyway, this will make a wonderful tool for students.
And inventory keeping will be so easy and cool, with this tool.
And, and…
And I’m sure some people will develop the hardware/software combination to transform this into a graphic tablet for the Mac. It will be wonderful for graphic design photo retouching and so on.
I like the tongue in cheek humor with the first background showed, for the iPad. A slate, to mock the “iSlate” rumors:
Oh, and did you notice the filenames of the iPad pictures on Apple’s website: herosomething. Seems like a nice code name for the iPad, “Hero”.
Ok, now, when will this be in our hands? Can’t wait.
